What an exhausting and long day. I had zero hours of sleep till now as i've spent the whole night just now watching soccer and what a painful night it is to see my team lose out to Man Utd by a goal to none. But i'm an optimist, so i'm gonna brush aside all the arrogant and complacent comments from the Man Utd fans(you know who you are) and remain confident that my team could turn the tie around at the Emirates Stadium next week.

Something happened in the bus on the way to school today. As typical as every weekdays, 8-9+ in the morning, the bus no. 8 will be packed like sardines. Single deck or double deck, it dosen't seem to make a difference. It happened to be that the bus i was on just now was single deck. Somewhere through the journey, when the bus stops at the bus stop opposite Holy Trinity Church, an angry businessman vented his frustation of not getting on the bus to a poor guy who is standing just infront of me. He stomped to the backdoor of the bus and knocked so hard that it catches everybody's attention, including the bus driver. Then he shouted some chinese words and pointed his middle finger to the poor guy. To end of his 10 seconds of bizzare drama, he kicked the backdoor of the bus so hard that i swear it almost broke. The bus driver then had no choice but to drive off and leave the grumpy man and his sorry ass behind. I felt very sorry for the poor boy who bacame a random target of some inconsiderate frustations. I saw his face and God, i almost broke down to tears to see his frightened self. I very much wanted to console him, pat his back and say some nice comforting words. But somehow i just couldn't manage to summon up enough courage to do so. It really is very sad to see his motivation level drop so low when he is on the way to school. May this kind of incident never happen again, anywhere and anytime. Please be considerate and patient. Believe me when i say having patience always pays off, no matter what the situation is.

1st week of MP/SIP has just came to an end. That means there are another 18 more weeks to go. Wooooo. I have to say the 1st week of MP/SIP is rather fun but at times boring. Monday was the most boring day, having to attend a couple of briefings here and there. Tuesday me and my group mates: ridzwan and feroz travelled all the way to chinatown to search for some hobby shop. Wednesday we went to payar lebar where the Tamiya HQ was held there. Thursday we started manufacturing out project and just now we did some testings. Our project still has a long way to go, but i am overall quite pleased with our progress so far.

MP/SIP sure can be very boring and dull at times. But at the same time, i find it very fun to be able to have the freedom to go out and grab a snack at breadboard, go out to have lunch at techno chicken rice stall and walk all the way to ITAS to have ice kacang at any time you want. Time management is very crucial. And i'm sure this whole stretch of 19 weeks will teach us all to manage our time better. Final say is that MP/SIP can be your worst enemy, but it also can be your bestfriend. Remeber, it carries a hefty lot of credit unit. Thus there can be no doubt of the massive influence it will play in your GPA score. All the best everyone, may the force be with you. :D

And so Arsenal crashed out of the FA cup semifinal. They lost it out to Chelsea after a goalkeeping error gifted drogba the winning goal in the 83rd minuite. That came after a brilliant spell of goal creating chances that were'nt converted due to a mixture of poor finishing, great chelsea defending and some brilliant goalkeeping. Its a real heartbreak, where i almost broke down in tears after watching the sorrowful faces of the Arsenal fans on television. But nevertheless, i believe we can take many positives from the game where we played some great football and at times swept the chelsea players off their feet.

I've been spending alot of time with my NI mates lately. Which is a great thing. Friday had a cookie baking session held at my house. Was expecting a huge battalion to turn up, but only zariq, sayyidi, begum, wawan, mus, marliyana and aishah turn up in the end. We had lots of fun baking cookies and my mum helped us a whole lot. Thanks mummy, we couldn't have done it without you. In the end, i think i estimated around 200 cookies baked. Which exceeded our target of 150. Alhamdulillah. Oh and i have yet to mention that the cookies taste absolutely delicious. Can really give famous amos a run in their money. Heh.

Yesterday had NI trek. Kind of ironic when there are only about 8 NI members who were present and the students from madrasah Irsyad as well as NYP exceeded us in numbers. But alhamdulillah, the good side of it is that we were able to make new friends. I made friends with people like Azhar and Asyraf, although most of the NI members known them already through RELITE camp which i didn't attend. Anyway, the event went well and it was great fun inspite of the tired and cramp legs after walking up slopes and steps along Mount Faber and eventually into kent ridge park. And i got to say, the henderson wave is really beautiful. A brilliant piece of art in terms of its design. And the scene surrounding it is also quite simply stunning. I really learnt to cherish and enjoy the nature more during the event. I came to realise the wonders and beauty of the nature. It was really wonderful, and alhamdulillah, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves throughout the whole event. InsyAllah, we will have another similar event next year. I very much will be looking forward to it.

Oh and school is starting like tommorow. To be honest, i don't think i am in the school mood yet. It'll be intresting to see how i cope with the first day of school tommorow. First day is aways the hardest and i believe it sets the tone for the whole semester. So hopefully, i would be able to wake up fresh and energetic tommorow as school starts at 8am. Especially when i only had 4 hours of sleep last night due to watching soccer. Haha.

Heyhooo.

I haven't been updating as i've been busy. Busy going out with my mum. Been going out with my mother alot. Went to all sorts of places such as IMM, Vivo, Bugis and her favourite Geylang Serai. And i just came back home after shopping at john little singapore expo sale with her.

Yesterday had an NI outing where Ustazah Hafizah treated us to dinner at Bishan Junction 8 pizza hut. Met Zariq first in tampines and then met Wawan in the MRT. Zuib joined us in the same MRT after Eunos station and the 4 of us met the rest in Bishan. The ordering itself took 20mins to say the least as we were having squabbles and arguments as to what pizza to order and so on. Thank God we finally came out with a list of our orders and we played some games among ourselves while awaiting the foods to arrive. After dinner, set off for Maghrib prayers at a mosque nearby. Waited for Isyak and prayed there as well. Then me, Zariq and Mokhsin took bus 59 home. And i swear i almost dozed off in the bus. Ok, that was unnecessary. :D

THE CAGE

And so i was there. Yes, its my first time in 18 years. Yes, i'm slow, i'm lagging behind bla bla bla. But who cares? Its my first and definitely, it won't be my last. :D

Didn't sleep last night to catch the Champions League match between Villareal and Arsenal. I got to say its a breathtaking match with 2 very stunning goals. Both teams were evenly matched and a 1-1 draw seems a justified result. I was watching the match online and the Man Utd fans(Syafiq and Amir) were like ranting and ranting on our MSN convo due to their team's inability to get through a resilient Porto side. Hah, all the best for the 2nd leg i guess? lol.

Hakim came online early morning and irritate the life out of me. He was so very excited about the soccer at Cage a few hours later.(Its his first time too). He really was as excited as a small kid who is attending a birthday party for the first time. He asked me things like 'Eh, you bringing soap? Later i want to bathe, like going swimming like that.' LOL, anyway, i met him and the rest a few hours later and we set off for the cage. The bus ride was quite long, but having zul crapping along beside me takes all the boredom away. We met zariq, iskandar and fazli there and we started playing. Isaac was kind of lost, so he only managed to play for awhile. Poor thing him. But i'm sure each and everyone of us had fun just now. I sure had my fair share of fun. And the thing about the cage is that you don't get tired easily. Thus you are able to run around more and get involved in the game more. I took some knocks here and there though, and my right leg is hurting right now. But i'm sure i'll be alright. The cage sure rocks but i guess thats it for now. Its back to the hidden court i guess. Haha.

Its been some time since i last updated so here it is.

Just came back from religious camp and it was really fun. I learnt lots of important lessons in life throughout the 48 hours camp. And i met wonderful people and made new friends. Probably the main highlight of the whole camp was when i was randomly selected to lead the whole cohort for Zuhur prayers. Its the first time for me doing so in a huge group. So i was a little nervous, but thank God, i did fine in the end.

Tommorow will be the first time i am going to step into the much talked about artificial pitches of 'the cage' in kallang. I can't wait. Hopefully everything goes smoothly tommorow and our $5 will be well spent. And it comes just after a few hours of the champions league match between Arsenal and Villareal. So i'll be discussing both the highs and lows of the match with my dearest arsenal pal, prabu. Wooh, i can hardly wait. :)

Its been a few wonderful days of soccer mania.

Wednesday had soccer training with Rizal and gang. It was an informal one, where we just played around while improve on our team chemistry at the same time. They make me travel so far, all the way to Chua Chu Kang. And God, how tired and shagged i was on the long train ride home. But overall, it was great fun hanging out with them and kicking some balls too. lol.

Yesterday went to Sayyidi's house and had a Fifa 09 competition on his PS3. Its the first time i had my hands on the PS3 and i got to say it won me over in an instant. The graphics were stunning and much more realistic. Anyway, the Fifa 09 competition got under way with Sayyidi using Barcelona, Zariq using Liverpool, Mussadiq using Bayern Munchen, Faruq using Real Madrid, Musagos using Arsenal and me myself using Inter Milan.(I wanted to pick Arsenal, but its already chosen). Overall, we had a great fun there. And thanks Sayyidi for the delicious black pepper chicken prepared. And not forgetting, thanks Zariq for driving me both there and home. Saved my EZ-link cash. :D

Anyway, The tournament took so long that we had to stop half way. So the final standings of the day were as followed:

1)Barcelona
2)Arsenal
3)Real Madrid
4)Inter Milan
5)Liverpool
6)Bayern Munchen
